Paul Burchill (Raw spoiler)

After taping Raw, I watched it last night, and was pretty pleased with what they did with Burchill.

After pretty much dumping him on Raw, he got to come out and attack Kennedy, in revenge for the gobby one getting Regal 'fired'...

shockingly, this is actually a feud I think could work. There's certainly logic to it, Burchill standing up for his fellow Brit and friend, it's a big name he's feuding with, and I think Burchill is good enough for the feud to show what Kennedy can do in the ring. I've said a few times that although Ken can cut a promo, I'm still waiting for him to have a decent match, and I think Burchil is capable of getting one out of him. This could hopefully be one of those rare feuds which both superstars benefit from, as opposed to one being buried by the more 'important' wrestler...

I agree this could be good for both superstars, I think after this, Kennedy could go into the main event, and Burchill into ther Interconential Title division.

But I think it's a bad idea to start a feud so close to a draft, unless it's going to be a short one.

they are in this storyline right now anyway. batista angry at hbk for retiring flair, burchill mad at kennedy because of getting regal fired, it is all the same

I don't think they'll be done in the same way though, I think even if it is similar it will still be good if done right.

I think Kennedy should start saying it was the right thing to do, he was ruuining raw, for the fans etc.

Burchill could say that, Regal did what was best for the company, and what the fans wanted didn't matter etc.

Have some good matches as well and you've got an ok feud there.

It might be a similar storyline, but at least it's pitting Burchill into a feud with a guy who's on his way up the card, rather than just shoving him on Heat with endless matches against Hacksaw and Super Crazy...

No point in signing somone who CAN wrestle and CAN use the mic, if your gonna let the skills get wasted and in turn the guy get sloppy.

im sure vince knows burchill can be more than a random pirate stint to fill time on smackdown.

i watched raw last night and in whole i enjoyed it, dont know why people moaned, and i think vinces idea is genius too. he loves making the news, just hope hes ok like and its not a way for him to be retiring on a good note.

People moaned sexton because its more bullshit that will fill raw every week and has NOTHING to do with wrestling in the slightest, WHY would I care if some fat yank wins $1mill or $ 10.000 ???? I DON'T.

Anyway, this is make or brake for Burchill IMO, and if I'm honest I don't see this feud even ending on a PPV.

if he goes ahead with it, thats a fuckin lot of money to give away.

Ive got a strong hench [im proablly wrong] that there will be like a plant in the crowd and vince will go you want the millon dollars you fight for it and then he loses to whoever.

But as for kennedy and Burchill could be a nice 2 month rivalry escalating to Regall's retuern . As i doubt they will move in the draft . And you can imagine kennedy's comments you two seem very close HA

but this to me seems like, regal got found out, or admited he made a mistake a while b4 the ban, in order to get somthing written, cos to me this seems really good, his whole firing, i mean they were building up the hate for him so much, so maybe its half planned if regal let them know (that way he might be praised, if you make a mistake admit it, dont just get caught)

I get that, but why would "I" care about it, it doesnt affect me, if I want to see people I don't know or give a fuck about winning money I'll watch deal or no deal, not a wrestling show.

I can honestly see Burchill being buried in this, the booking staff have fked so much up lately. but that's just me.

im a bit wary of this too, but then again, one blindsided attack is a plus thing.

Yeah don't get me wrong, him being on TV with a proper opponent is deffo a good thing and I hope it works for BOTH guys(yes even Kennedy), but this being the WWE I'm not confident that they won't fk it up.

I don't think it will be as simple as that. I think either they'll have someone planted in the crowd or a wrestler will come out, he might even give it back to himslef and say that all the money thet texted etc. went to him.

Its not a mill a week its a mill in total, like i said legally they would be fucked if this was any kind of work.

THEN shane o mac turns majorly heel, about it being his inheritance, and walla, a pre made supreme storyline for a new gm :O

I dont like Burchill to many dodgy gimmicks i think he needs the Ripper gimmick and to portray him as a ruthless monster like guy
