Andrei Arshavin: Pacey and can dribble better than alot of players, it really is like watching someone with a ball glued to their feet. Creates chances for strikers and can play left right or centrally.


Joaquín Sánchez: Good all round right winger, from what ive seen he can pick out a pass or cross like scholes and hes pretty strong for a winger. At betis he averaged about 13/14 assists a season, in a fairly low team.

For the first manager to be sacked I'm gunning for Keegan. For some reason, people have this dillusion about him that he "turned" Newcastle around. Did he fuck! His record with Newcastle is extremely average and he has in no way improved on Allardyce. At least with him, they never really considered relegation but they were deep in the brown stuff at one point with Keegan.

to be fair your saying that when keegan had practically no chance of making any of his own signings.

and did you ever see a newcastle match after keegan took over? they played with so much more confidence and freedom than we did under allardyce. allardyce wanted the team to keep closed and hoof the ball aimlessly up the pitch hoping that something will become of it.

with keegan, we play thru balls, we get in behind and around defenders and score some sweet goals with excellent build up. just like when in 2 passes geremi and michael owen destroyed the mackems and scored past them

now im not saying keegan is the saviour and that newcastle are chasing a trophy next season. but if keegan plays his cards right, thers absolutly no reason why we cant be challenging the top 6 again within the next 2 years.

newcastles record with keegan in his first spell is VERY impressive. just over 50% of his matches were victories. now thats gotta be impressive saying as BOTH draws and losses make up the remaining 40+% so thats one set of results versus TWO sets of results. for the benefit of those that cant do the maths, that makes an average win - draw - loss record of 50% wins, 25% losses 25% draws
