I cannot believe they have stuck Batista straight back in the world title picture.

Bastita challenging for the world title defines the word stale.
I shall no longer watch Smackdown until this is no longer the case.

In my opinion ECW was the best show of the week.

yep i agree, i read the spoiler yesterday and it just really pissed me off. Batista HAS to be drafted in a couple of weeks, not only is he becoming stale challenging for WHC but he has just become stale on SD

I find it hard to believe that Smackdown creative sat down and said...

CREATIVE 1 "Right we need to create a new fued for Edge now that Taker has gone"

CREATIVE 2 "How about Batista"

CREATIVE1 "I read somewhere he's been in 13 WHC main events in the past 15 Pay- Per-Views"

CREATIVE2 "So what are you saying"?

CREATIVE1 "Im saying people love it"

CREATIVE2 "Thats it then, Edge v Batista VIII at night of Champions"

CREATIVE 1 "No we need a new spin, Edge V Batista is on the verge of getting stale"

CREATIVE2 "OK.......let me think.........Batista V Edge?"

CREATIVE 1 "Sweet, get it booked"

I think Batista is really being used as a temporary challenger for Edge until after the draft. If you look at Smackdown's roster right now, with Taker now gone, Batista really is the only main event face left. Things will hopefully look a bit better after this draft.

Personally I think ECW is swiftly becoming THE best show about.
All the exciting young guys that do this little thing called wrassle.
Not a fan of Kane being champ (or for that matter Big Show) but if you want to look at who'll be main eventing RAW in 5 years time just look at ECW.

few points about smackdown...

Batista seemed to be trying to mimic ric flair!?!? in his interupt edge talk?

Hints at chavo turning face, just slight little looks in his face as edge said "il be your uncle" and "the kids will be your cousins"

rey and chavo tag team? lol

about 3 squash matches and colin delaney in the main event.

BAD SHOW.

cant wait for the draft, edge is so lonely uo on that card.

also, has MVP failed a fucking drugs test? he was up in the box seats like regal was at the ppv.

My guess is he will be added to the title match at NOC.

Anyways, the internet says nothing about him being suspended, that would probably have come out before now.

Also, they'd be no reason for him to be shown on TV, since it's pretaped. Its probably an angle of some kind.

MVP is being kept off TV which is basically a spoiler for the draft

He was in a dark match so he is available to appear, he is one of the best on the blue brand so you can bet that a move to RAW is on the cards

I wanted to see MVP stay on SMACKDOWN and become a fixture in the main event scene, I don't think he will get that opportunity on RAW, althogh I could see a face turn and a run against Edge which I believe would have been a good feud

Those may have only been matches designed to keep the straps on the champions for now however it would have added fresh challengers to each scene and there is potential for top class matches

It says something about the NOC when the best match so far announced is Big Show/Kane.
