Did anyone like the title to this thread too? i thought it was good

id liked to be shocked with this HBK/Y2J feud, its been so badly written and done so far its unbelivable.

And i prefer MVP really, just cos hes even more arrogant. But i hope they do somthing soon those to, in working together in a feud. Its their best option for getting mega over, if given the time of creative.

In the ned it's mainly down to who sells the most, Kennedy is the more marketable character, Bazz said that all he's done is shout Kennedy twice, but this is great for a character, it show a arrogance and can be sold easily making alot of money. The big stars of the attitude era The rock and Stone Cold both had similar catchphrases: IF YOU SMEEELLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN'! and That's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so. Great to get to the top.

Its nothing like it in the slightest.

Austin and Rock had more than just a catchphrase, they could cut 10min proms and have the crowd going mental, then they would drop there catchphrases. Kennedy is bland in comparison.

I wasn't saying that the fact he says his name twice makes him as good as teh rock or scsa, I was saying that using this makes him very marketable.

How long will that last?? he's been doing it for a good few years now, he's failed to bring anything else bar screaming his name twice, to the table, his mic skills are average at best, yet he's supposedly the second coming. yeah right

He needs to change because people WILL get board with him, if he doesn't.

I can see whats going to happen with him a mile off...

1) He turns face.
2) his name shouting will get over with the kids.
3) people will start to say he's stale.
4) his current smark fans will turn on him
5) he ends up being booed in every arena by the smarks like cena.

I don't see that happening because for that to happen the fans would actually have to care enough to do it and I dont see that happening with him.

I really want to like Kennedy but he doesn't bring nothing new to the table - is he really any differant to the guy that was 'good' on Smackdown for a few weeks?

MVP has also lost his way again.

He's not been much cop since his matches with Benoit imo.

He looked like breaking out in Sept time but its all downhill now.

I thought him dropping the U.S. title would be the turning point, and then he would move up into the main event, but obviously not, I think he needs to get back to his best and soon, if he doesn't he'll slip and at his age most likely won't have another shot at the main event.

His booking hasn't been great though(a bit like smckdown its self), why they never had him defending his tile for so long is beyond me.

I think the reason was that the last champion was Benoit so they kept it with MVP for so long so that people would associsate with MVp and not Benoit, silly but 95% sure it's true.

more rivalries for the title would mean more forgetting though. Especially is MVP looked as strong as batista being able to defend it all the time.

outcome, MVP looks stong, he does more in ring work cos hes aloud to, he cuts more clever promos, and he gets more support and a better push.

plus sheltons catch phrase is more like the rocks tbh. which means nothing.

im personally hoping wwe sorts its tag matches out soon as i thought was basicly promised, cos the more JTG we see the better i think, he looks comfortable being infront of fans whilst chatting on about stuff. He needs alot more credit i think, for his charisma.

I wasn't trying to say his shouting his name was like the Rock, what I was trying to say, it's something that can be marketed to it's full, it will never be big as If you smell etc. it 's just something WWE can market, meaning that Kennedy is used more, if he sells more merchandise.

he wont sell more frmo that though, hel need to be let loose on the mic more to do entire speaches to build a rep.

i mean not every kid likes him that much. I just hope he keeps evolving to an austin esque charactor
