Ok it's been done to death before but I wanted to put together a top 5 list for everyone.

I'll put up a topic, then everyone puts forward their top 5 under that topic.

To get the ball rolling:

Top 5 reasons why Russo is a genius

1. Created the Vince v Austin storyline
2. Aims towards a more mature audience
3. Throws curveball endings
4. Firing Hogan from WCW

and Top 5 reasons why Russo is an idiot

1. Reliance on gimmick matches
2. Beaver Cleavage
3. Oklahoma parody of JR
4. David Arquette's title reign
5. His own title reign

I loved the WCW on-air Russo character.
He's a total mark but the 5 reasons given in the 'for' column far outweight the 5 given in the 'against' column.

When talking about Russon I think it's important to remember that he has been fired twice for coming up with ideas that defy belief......

In WCW: Tells a creative meeting that on the following Nitro they would be holding a battle royal for the WHC and that Tank Abbott would be winning it by squash over 19 other guys.

In WWE: Hired and fired in the space of 4 days after Vince asks him to come up with THE next big storyline.........
His storyline, the gay market is untapped as far as wrestling goes so he wanted to hook the Rock up with Trish but then have him exposed as been cheating on her with a man.He wanted to turn the Rock gay.
He was let got the very next day.

My Russo Top 5:

For him -

1 - Austin / McMahon
2 - Undertaker and Kane was him aswell, I believe?
3 - A lot of the Attitude era was him, moving wrestling away from kayfabe and all that bollocks
4 - The fact that even though he's apparently a devout Christian, some of the stuff he's come up with is just awesome!!!
5 - Kurt Angle's current persona in TNA was down to Russo too...

4- He overbooks, gimmick matches, relentless run-ins...
