That would make whatever champion he beats look weak as fk though. having him job out every week for months then beet a world champion just wouldn't make any sense.

It would be decently believable though, provided the champ was dead.

I think it was a terrible idea to give him the MITB, I'm not a big fan, and don't want him any where near the world title, but I think given a little more freedom, and his matches would get alot more interesting.

But I agree with Sexton, atm he's been put across as a rob van dam copy, except he's not as good.

I actually miss-read read what gaffer wrote, its would be a good way to turn him heel(something which ROH fans say he is better at), and its not like he would keep the title long

I don't think he will turn heel though, considering one of the main reasons he's being pushed is that he doesn't do drugs, alcohol etc. so he's someone for the kids to look up at, kids generally don't look up to the heels.

I didn't say merchandies, a big reason CM Punk is being pushed is because he's straighedge or whatever it's called, so they want to put across the right image, so....they have him face so the kids look up to him and might take up that path etc.

Of course I, personally think he should turn heel, but that's the way I think WWE are feeling.

That straightedge thing is hardly ever pushed, sure its mentioned now and then but nothing more. If they were that concerned about the little kiddies then they would put a belt on him and have him bang on about not doing drugs ever week(which i guarantee would turn him heel anyway)

Anyway I was wrong about Kane/punk winning the tag belts(thankfully), seems strange to have them both lose on ECW and then lose on the PPV.

I dont think CM Punks way of living will stop the WWE from making him heel, if they want to push him because of his out of ring attitude then they will do so regardless, he is only playign a character so it matters not if he is heel or face, if the WWE want to reward him for his lifestyle then they will do so be it as a face or a heel

iv watched up till the end of the tag match and was glad too, they managed to make morrison and miz look strong vs kane, punk look strong, and kane and punk look cheated, was the right outcome i think.

would have liked to see punk turn heel straight after the match though, which would lead him to winning the ecw championship without his MITB setting up a possible RVD return for the ECW belt, to really get people talking about ECW.

Yeah I watched it, it was a good tag match IMO, the only time Punk ever impresses me is on PPV's, if he put half as much effort into his TV matches, he wouldn't be festering on ECW.

aye hes a good prospect if they can get him giving a shit about the leg work (not the kicks obv)

and considering one of the tag teams wasnt really a current team, it worked really well. They make it more believable when miz and morrison do moves on kane now aswell, which is good.

miz and morrison need a good rivalry soon, or to lose the belts and go seperate ways if morrison is ready, but a good proper feud with someone is needed, but there isnt a decent face team on smackdown.
