| On niceboard there had been talks of putting Undertaker on raw, now although I think in the past Undertaker suited Raw, I just don't think he would suit it like he is now. His costume, his gimmick in general is different to what it first was, and I just think that he suits Smackdown alot more. Raw rely on drama alot more and the fact that WWE rarely have 'Taker speaking he is much more suited on Smackdown where they focus on the wrestling alot more, and 'Taker is an excellent wrestler, especially for his age.
What are your thoughts? Does 'Taker suit Raw in your eyes? Does 'Taker not suit Smackdown?

| Definatly Smackdown without him the belt would be on Edge and Batista all the time
His whole persona suits Smackdown and hed be usless on RAW unless he became the American Badass again Also on Smackdown him and Kane can do their thing because of the Smackdown talent exchange.

| Id like to see him on Raw if he were put on the mic more, maybe a sort of invasion of the Raw main event scene with a sort of faction, give him his dead man, raising the dead, putting victims into body bags etc.
Id like to see a sort of Minisrty of Doom faction again involving
'Taker
Kevin Thorn
Beth Phoenix
Londrick (with a new darkside gimmick) - could give them a huge push.
You had a good point that Raw is more about entertainment, but something involving a new faction "taking over" Raw would be great, ending the era of orton etc

| I think basicly him and edge ARE smackdown (for now)
soon it will be Morrison at the top feuding edge and jericho and cade. As a guess anyway, id watch that.
when do you think taker will be retiring? and will he give up his streak?

| I know what you mean C4lum, but I think if he's going to be on Raw he will have to use the mic more, and I don't think that's good for his character really, I think I prefer him with his one liners like Rest in peace or at Judgement day you will be buried, etc. | |

| I think if he gives up his streak it will deystroy a character that they have built up he should make a big show about it like beating Kane (I want to see that as Takers last match) and then getting in his own casket, I think that would be great, I think they should have ended it at 15, but if not 20-0. | |

For me tho he is growing really stale, i mean yes the smackdown main event will be thin but that could be sorted out in the draft, and giving pushes too MVP, Morrison etc If he is not planning on retireing anytime soon then i think this could really freshen up his character, on the other hand if he is retireing soon, why not do it on the show where it all began for him? But yes atm him and Edge are smackdown

| Do you think Taker would actually want to jump to RAW though? Smackdown is his yard, he's the top guy both on screen and backstage. Go over to RAW though and he loses his back up, he loses his no1 status, he enters the Kliq land, HHH's yard. Thats why I think they've been kept separate for a few years now. Both on the same show would be a civil war backstage. And Taker probably knows that there would only be one winner and it wouldnt be him. | |

| That's a good point, but i think HHH isn't as bad as some make out backstage, im suprised to see Orton with the title still around his waist.
Undertaker and HHH feud? would that be something we'd like to see? two of the biggest names in Wrestling today in a feud could make very good business

| So, its unlikely we will see on Undertaker on RAW, HHH has made it well known that he doesn't wanna be on Smackdown, at the moment im just finding the whole Undertaker gimmick 'stale'
make him more evil like the older days, would it really be that hard? He's probably gonna be with the WWE for a while longer yet

| his coat at mania made him sem more evil, so its as easy as a slightly changed attire.
then give him one or 2 gimick matches at PPVs and there sorted.

| Gimmick wise its amazing he's held it together for so long really. A fair number of injuries and time off have helped him do the old return from the dead plot on several occasions Then they've done the attack by a new monster heel I think at least 3 times possibly more. The only real change was his American Badass getup and personally I thought that sucked. 20 years after Hells Angels was a bit stale. | |

| Yeh i never liked his 'bad-ass' gimmick, and i do agree about how it's amazing how his gimmick has lasted so long, but i mean no major changes need to be made
*More gimmick matches *Change of attire *Maybe a new faction? *Put him on the mic a bit more

| *Ditch that fake blood finisher.
although i like the idea of him making people bleed more, its just so dodgey as a main event finish to have blood from the mouth

| I weren't too fussed bout the Baddass gimick and the 'Decade Of Distruction' BS, though he had a great fued with DDP which I thought was one of the best thing's to come out of the Invasion angle! Good one Sexton, it negate's the whole gimmick though, like (IMO) having the worm eater Boogeyman gimmick appealing for kid's like WTF are they tryna teach our kid's??? | |

| they are teaching them how to eat wums in case of a food crisis the badass gimmick was a quite cool one for me in fact, but it could not last long and was not a gimmick like the dead man which is the legacy of taker a heel turn would be great for all of us, we can see him playing his mind games again and all that bury them alive | |

| Screw where he belongs. In m opinion, which will be controversial. He needs to retire. I liked him in the attitude era. But the only good he does these days is his entrance.
I retuiremment match for taker at mania. Loosing his streak would be a fitiing send off. I dislike the streak. It amkes most mainevents predictable which is the last thing you want.
I will get compalints for this but. Tker winning the title on a part tie contract takes the prestige out of house shows

| Like it has already been said, I don't think Undertaker suits RAW. That is where all the big storylines and all the good promos happen. Undertaker is more of a wrestler who just wants to get on with the wrestling and doesn't want to cut long promos. He suits Smackdown just fine.
He do feel he needs to turn heel though as he is getting a bit stale as a face and to make him evil again, they need to turn him heel.
His last match I think should be against Kane at Wrestlemania for the WWE title and the chance for Taker to go 20-0. Taker wins and then after the match, Kane destroys Taker and puts him in a casket and then gets the druids to carry Undertaker out of the building and bury him for good.
I would have this happen as I really can't see Taker retiring the way people normally retire by announcing they are retiring and having their last match. I don't feel it would suit his character at all.

| Yeah, Rock, I agree, Kane has to be his last match, and I think they have to keep the streak, like the casket idea, rather than him announcing it. | |

| Thats not a bad idea for a last match.
It defiantly needs to be at Mania, so we've got at least another year of taker.
If taker was to go to raw, i'd need to be a huge story, and i'd need to happen gradually. People associated with HHH would need to disappear, HHH 's symbol would have to go up in flames after all of HHH's big matches, and notable faces would have to start coming off as darker characters. Taker would reveal himself as the cause of all this, and you'd get HHH vs Taker for rumble or summerslam.
