look at the unhighlighted text at the bottom of the poster.....
"talent names, images,likenesses,slogans and WRESTLING MOVES are the exclusive property of WWE"
How can you trademark a wrestling move? (I know you can trademark the name of a move but not the actual move surely!?)

I think its just the name. Mosdt moves were made/thought up along time ago and there would be know way they could control this if it were to happen

I think you'll find that if a talent invents a move then that move becomes their property....
Example: In the 1970's a grappler by the name of Dave Smith invented a move called the british bulldog, when Smith died during the summer of 1992 he took the rights to use that move to his grave. thats why his son (who wrestles for the championship in the federation as the british crippler) doesn't use the move.
I belive the reason we also never see piledrivers is because Owen Hart was killed by one he owned the rights to in 1997
