I know we have a few people who are computer masters so I was thinking we post our COM problems in here and see if we can help each other out. OK I'll go first, I installed the new Adobe flash player, and ever since Iv had problem watching videos and crap, so is there anyway I can re-install the older one??? any help will be much appreciated.

just un install it from the list, try the movies. then re-install it to see if that was the problem.

| Bazz, how long ago did ya update? Go on to Start> All Prog...> System Recover/ Restore and set it to before you updated it...
I would try to 'repair' your OS (operating system) with a XP disk or something Villa! Sound's like something to do with the OS.

| well its a simple program that i have to do for uni. i cant see why it wont work its the "IF ELSE" statement at the bottom, it works fine if i take out the "ELSE" statement. but i cant see whats wrong with the else statement in! __________________________________________________________ Public Class Form1 Inherits System.Windows.Forms.Form Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Dim Month(12) As String Dim i As Integer = 0 Month(1) = "January" Month(2) = "February" Month(3) = "March" Month(4) = "April" Month(5) = "May" Month(6) = "June" Month(7) = "July" Month( = "August" Month(9) = "September" Month(10) = "October" Month(11) = "November" Month(12) = "December" Do i += 1 Loop Until i = txtinput.Text If txtinput.Text <= 13 Then lstoutput.Items.Clear() lstoutput.Items.Add(Month(i)) Else lstoutput.items.add ("must be between 1 and 12") End Sub End Class | |

| i have a text box, a button, and a list box.
you put a number between 1 and 12 into the text box, press the button, and the corresponding month is displayed.
i.e. 1 = January, 2 = February etc etc.
this works. its the end, i have to have an error message so if u put in anything other that 1-12, it says its not valid.
im not getting a problem with that line :S
try putting "Then lstoutput.item.clear ()" on the line below. it may not have problems then
