| So early thoughts on the new brian kendrick then?
seems a good gimick IMO and he can play it well, looked a bit sloppy with his finishers but more screen time will get him back firing again no doubt, i mean its been a long layoff of him doing much bar the odd job and tag match after a year long reign at the top of the tag scene.
also rycklon (ezikiel) i feel is a good partner for him, as kendrick is one of the smallest guys in the business and for those believable heel wins a beast of a man putting people off is a good way to do it. Also hes a bit of a mystery charactor, as to why he is helping this cocky arrogant guy.
I am not sure how long they will be able to pus with kendrick, but after building him up for a while im sure he could put on some classy fueds for the US title and maybe more and more rycklon will become involved and they could go for tag belts too.
Its a fresh gimmick for these times i think and his boasting will hopefully get him nice heat with the smackdown fans, especially if he fueds someone like hardy down the line at some point.
So what do you think of this new direction for kendrick?
The wwe using a smaller guy with a proper heel gimmick that could lead him to good stories and fueds, well done WWE.

| He's looking good against other cruiser's, BUT I can only compare his cocky gimmick to Jamie Noble, but with back up (Zeeky lol). I can see him dropping the hired hand and jobbing out to the bigger guy's and harrasing women in the near future.
I mean he's only 5'8, I cant see him getting pushed farer than a comedic mid carder, even with Zeeker in his corner. Mark my word's, he will either go back tagging with some one comparable to him, or he will go the way of the Noble.
It's a shame, anybody who's seen Noble actually wrestle a good match and NOT job out will know he's very good, same with Kendrick, he's VERY good, but without either going the tag route again OR reviving the cruiser division, he will be harrassing women and jobbing to jobber's.

| using it on the wrong guy though!
The gimmick they have given him is a gimmick that could lead to a world title, however Brian Kendrick will never get a world title
I think its a wasted opportunity

| just don't see the effort if thats the case though mafish, comparing him to decent guys.
if he pops out the hurricanranas again and more moves like that he could be ok. Would like to see what rycklon can do in ring too, probably just dominate but still.
he is calling himself THE brian kendrick now and his finisher is "the kendrick" just maybe thought wwe maybe getting an ok push for a small guy right for once.

| I just cant see WWE pushing a guy of his size to any thing other than an eventual jobber, Rey only got big because he appealed to the kid's, sold merch, etc.
But they do seem to be pushing him, I just cant see it lasting long or it getting far. I can honestly see it going the same way HBK/ Sid enforcement story went, just less profile.
By the look's of thing's, Ryclon was trained by Homicide so I would like to see him in action soon.

| You seen Louis Theroux's Wierd Weekend's? He did one at the WCW Power Plant back in '99 and there was a trainer, Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker, a stocky guy, only 5'8 aswell, looked massive though, propper meat head. Wrestled as Braun The Leprechaun in WCW | |

| I hope Kendrick starts going towards the u.s. championship, otherwise as has been said, he will slip and will become a jobber. So the sooner he manages to really make a name for himself and get some limelight the better. | |
