the state of the niceboard

i just posted this up on Niceboard, but i will post it here to incase some of you dont read it
NOTE: I AM REFERRING TO THE NICEBOARD FORUM, NOT SEXTONS!

well im quite dissapointed with the management of this forum.

we have been locked out of our discussions because ther was absolutley no moderation going on this forum whatsoever.

at most it takes an hour to clean up some threads and delete them.

we have been locked out for a pretty long time now and its really starting to piss me off.

the boss man said he was gna be on today to sort it out. but lo' and behold nothing AGAIN.

this problem could have been avoided AGES ago had we been given another moderator, a reliable one, not the new admin who pops his head up every 2 weeks to post a pointless reply to anything.

even granting someone admin privelages during this troubled state of affairs to clean up the forum in boss mans absence would have been a decent thing to do.

but as we have all come to realise that management around here sucks. nothing personal about S@qiB, but you cant escape facts

to me, this forum is dead in the water, i say its time we moved shop to sextons forum full time. at least that way we know that were getting moderated to a standard we expect.


but im just telling you all what you already know, and what your already thinking.

I think you maybe being a bit harsh on S@qib, you gotta appreciate the fact that he went through all that trouble to set up the forum. He may just not like sharing his admin duties. Some may be regular posters but all it takes is a moment for someone to flip. From what i could tell Rabid was ok till the whole benoit thing happened (dont quote me on this i wasnt around when all that stuff kicked off). Cadarn is regularly posting vids etc on the niceboard, but most people dont trust him...he could easily go under the radar and become a mod as well if we didnt know what he is actually like.

What im trying to say is look at it from S@qibs point of view, he tried getting someone he personally knows to moderate the forum....it didnt work out. He himself has been away but just like myself ive had probs at home and couldnt be online.

If we're planning to leave show the guy a bit of appreciation instead of slating him...without him i would never have met my true love sexton

to be fair tho arty, i have sang my praises for him in the past, i have gave credit where credits due.

but i cant just let stuff slide. im not gna sit back and not share my opinion. others might not be able to swallow the truth but i told cold hard facts.

management of the niceboard IS crap.

i mean whats the worst that could happen, he gives someone SOME mod powers, and if it all goes to pot, he bans them and puts it right.

plus he knows how loyal some people are/were to the niceboard, he knew what others were like. so he knew who would be trustworthy for the responsibility.

coz who in the right mind would fuck up the site that they helped build.

i think the credit should go to us for that forum, coz tbh we made it what it turned into

exactly, right now this site wouldnt have even taken off in any form without the good people so yeh.

anyone cud have been noted as mod to just ban someone if ther being a cunt. btw can mods ban ppl

im just saying if we are gonna throw in some harsh truths to the guy lets not forget to give him some appreciation as well, if we end it end it on good terms man, I dont know S@qib too well dont want the guy comitting suicide over this

i think if it opens up again, then they will have a new generation of posters. but it will be over-run by WUMS wumming each other

This forum will be a success no doubt....only one problem i can see is that we cant ban sexton

I think S@qiB was marking out with all the over mark's before we came along, saw every one of us posting up 'sense' and just fucked off from there basically! He got up 2000+ post's then around November (maybe before) stopped posting much!

maybe he read our articles and learnt that batista was really wank

Squib made niceboard. We carried it on. It depends what type of person he is in rela life depends on whether he would share admin duties.

He obviously didnt want any1 else to be in control. It is still a good place nad hasnt become a bad 1 over night. Just needs carful watching. The posting of link everywhere never helped

i still rekin sexton should assign post-based ranks and make me a mod!

this begs the question, if we do set up camp here, do we invite s@qib? hes a honest decent bloke, he just doesnt know how to manage.

actually it is like a kid(niceboard) s@quib gave birth to it but we raise it
S@quib in my opinion DIDN"T want to share the admin power with some one else, he just wanted to share it with his real life friend
