Is there a line people shouldt cross?

I mean i say the more contreversial the better but wwe in past and present have done things such
people kayfabe dieing
people getting run over
people geting cock chopped off
people bieng set on fire.
So the question i ask in todays modern day and world is there a line that storylines shouldnt cross?

Yes, but WWE have already crossed it with the Katie Vick storyline. I watch wrestling for entertainment not to watch two men fighting over a dead women who one of them allegdley raped.

I also don't think they should do kayfabe dieing. It goes too far when they claim that someone has died, when they obviously haven't IMO.

I remember when my cousin was watching the Vince Limo incident and thought he was properly dead and then Vince had to address the Benoit incident and he was like "What the Fuck! I thought Vince was dead!".

Why should there be a line at the end of the day its Sports Entertainment. Nothing else.

Corrie and Eastenders cross every line there is so why cant WWE if it got away from its PG rating

The one major taboo is incest, and even Vince has veered away from Burchill & Katie Lea being too friendly in public with each other now. Although, as I mentioned on another thread somewhere, there's always Hornswoggle and Finlay...

Personally, I don't think there should be anything that's too risque for WWE. People getting run over is not that common in WWE, before JBL twatted Cena with his limo a few weeks ago, when was the last one? Seeing as it's much more common to see them nailing each other with chairs, and surely that shouldn't be done either?

In the end, it's a TV show. If films and soaps can show murder, knifings, rapes and god knows what else at half seven in the evening, then why can't WWE that is shown later, and the versions broadcast at kid friendly times are edited?

The only line WWE shouldnt cross is when they have storylines and angles that dont make sense, they shouldnt cross the line between what we can accept as reality and what we cant.
The JBL-Cena car crash for instance, JBL's facial expressions told the story that he had hurt Cena but then we found out that Cena had moved which didnt make any sense taking into account JBL's reaction.

What is too far in wrestling?

But as others have mentioned, turn on Eastenders and you’ll see most of them week in week out (don’t think they’ve gone with the hand birth yet though)
