I don't think there will be a 'new' Shawn Michaels to be honest, I do think guys can be as great as him but the original will always be considered the best

Chris Jericho upon his arrival in the WWF in 1999 was labeled the new Michaels by JR in his weekly blog but now he is considered the real deal himself

Wouldn't it be better to establish new stars then finding 'the new so and so'

I see what ya mean there Gaffer, it's a label for up and comer's that show real promise, untill they can step out and people can say about other's, he's the next so and so (who ever was the next HBK lol). If that made sense?

People should stop looking for the "next" whoever. Just be original ffs.

The most famous/successful wrestlers all have an individual style and personality. Trying to emulate people from the past is ridiculous IMO. I think they're doing more harm than good calling a kid like Kendrick the next HBK. Setting the bar that high for him is ridiculous and we all know he isn't anyway. The more he tries to become HBK the less people are gonna give a shit about him.
