What does the future hold for the Motor City Machine Guns?

The TNA tag team of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have been together now for two years.
Originally pairing together in Pro Wrestling Zero Max they have swiftly become one of if not THE hottest tag team around (only the Briscoe’s IMO are also up there).
Both have the moves, both have a great in ring chemistry and most importantly both are receiving a great crowd reaction.
Ok their new get up is something out of Warhammer meets Gladiators but that’s just down to TNA being a crock of crap.
But I can see the huge potential that both guys have, they remind me very much of the Rockers at their prime (though which is Michaels and which is Jannety is yet to be seen).
Neither are the tallest guys (5’10 Shelley, 6ft Sabin) but they’re just tall enough to keep it believable.
Does anyone else think the pair could go onto great things in the future?

The fancy hats are annoyin, but yeah, after their whole fued with 3D and devine, I thought they'd get a push. They're damn good

Ever since they refused to blade in the angle with 3D they have been treading water in TNA

They are exceptional as a team, I can only see them getting better, there is no way TNA will allow them to slip through the net

Yeah they were on punishment after the refusing to blade in that 3D fued, and only started to win matches again when TNA decided they wanted them to represent TNA in the X-Cup. I like your comparison to The Rockers Macca, I've also felt there is that similarity with their fast paced offence and slick double team moves, definitely future tag champs in the making if they do what the company asks of them in the future.

I didn't hear about this refusing to blade, and was wondering why they weren't going against LAX or Beer Money. aside from Beer money and 3d, are there any other Heel teams in TNA?

The Rock n Rave Infection are the only other heel team I can think of at the moment. Don't know what's happened to TNA's tag division, it used to be great and now there aren't that many teams.
