With CM Punk cashing in his Money in the Bank and becoming Champion it brought in a new era in WWE. In recent times several new superstars have been brought through with the likes of Evan Bourne (Matt Sydal), Kofi Kingston, Paul Burchill all getting increasing airtime.
Who next from either Florida’s development league or from the independents could become the next superstar?
For me here’s a few of the best:
Bryan Danielson
He’s appeared in several dark matches in recent times for WWE, is a great technical wrestler and has been trained by Regal. He is one of the founding fathers of ROH and always makes his matches A grade.
The Briscoe Brothers
A real pair of ugly feckers but widely regarded as the best tag team in the world not just in the independents. They've been involved against AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, CM Punk and other big names whilst in ROH. Check out their springboard doomsday device (ouch!)
Chris Hero
For me a great name instantly but there's more to him that just that. He's been involved in feuds with Punk and used his own web journal to instigate a rivalry with the entire ROH roster while he was in Combat Zone.
Jack Evans
A high flyer that makes Jeff Hardy look like he has the spots of Batista. This guy truly holds no fear for his own body and Sexton is a huge fan.
Colt Cabana
Currently in FCW but I expect a move up to ECW soonish or even RAW, Colt has often been involved and partnered with CM Punk so could become a stable partner to him if the current trend in WWE continues. He proved his mettle in a brutal match with Homicide in ROH and has excellent mic skills (and would outrap Cena in his sleep)
Please feel free to put forward other guys that should be up there

I've seen chris hero in action when he came over to hull with 1PW, he's got a lot of agility for a big man

SOme good choices there. I would root for both danielson as well as cobana
I just think WWE would want to repackage danielson to much. Change his finisher as well as his look and his entrance music

Javk Evans is not some one I rate too highly he is just a nutter nothing he has done has proven to me that he can actually wrestle altohugh Danielson and Cobana are superb. Also a bit of a fan of Hagler I think hs name is the Florida champ

Yes Jake Hagler is on a Goldberg size winning streak at present and is the current champ.

Teddy does have really great natural talent and could be a main eventer without doubt, he just has the largest chip on his shoulder and has been kicked out of every organisation he's been in. At some point he may realise he's the problem not others.

I couldn't disagree more about Teddy being a main eventer, the only chance he ever had at that was because of his name, and that would of lasted two months tops.

And I said I disagree that he could or would ever be.
He is the definition of the word spot monkey, people only talk about him because his name is hart.
