i'll take that back and go back to my mackem statement.

one of my friends is a mackem, and he cant get over the fact that sunderland won a trophy in 1973, and newcastle last won a trophy in 1969. he said the mackems are a better team because of that. i was like "err. no bud. newcastle have more major trophies than the mackems, and sunderland have only beaten newcastle five times in four decades" surely longetivity and a higher number of trophies proves that newcastle are the superior team?
