Pro-Heel King of the Mountain competition

8 people can sign up for this competiton.

I am one of them so there are 7 spaces left.

There are 4 groups of 2 in round 1 and the discussions will be based on who can debate a specific point better.

Round 2 will see the voted (by anyone) winners of round 1 face each other in a round of booking a certain scenario.

The final will be between the surviving 2 people who will have to write an article about a pre-chosen (by everone else) pro-wrestling subject.

Everyone then votes the winner.

Are there 5 people up for this? (im saving Bazz and Gaffer a place cos they'll be in)

Would it be an all-day debate? I mean, would say I put on an argument, you'd post a counter, then I'd counter that? Or is it that I'd put on my argument, you'd put yours on then people vote?

Just one argument for a specific subject, then one argument agains, doesnt matter when they are posted or in what order, once they have both been posted a poll would be added and anyone could vote on who they agree with or who argued the best point.

i cant do it because this time next week ill be off for 3 weeks to learn Irish

Once we have the 8 spaces full i'll post the subjects for each round and exact details on how to play (It is pretty simple)

You can let someone else take my spot Marty, I don't do fantasy booking or whatever, plus the last time we did something like this, the people who lost bitched like 5yr olds.

well i was just saying that i wouldnt be able to do it so if there was only 7 doing it or something and you needed one more youd no DOSS wont be doing it

Marty, just a small point - if you're running this, surely you can't enter it too - if you decide the topics, that gives you the advantage of kowing what you're argument is long before your opponent...

So now you've told me 3 times that your not doing it when you didn't need to say anything.

Can you think of a way round this?

Maybe I could post all the topics etc now so everyone has equal chance to think of what they would write.

Either take a gentlemanly step out of the competition, or let someone else set your topics. I'm pretty sure someone like myself, Gaffer or Maccs could happily set you something to argue about...

subject 1:Montreal '97 (debate in Brets favour v debate in Vinces favour)

subject 2:The fall of WCW (Russo to blame debate v politics he was working with)

subject 3: The more entertaining promotion (TNA V WWE)

subject 4: How to solves WWE's problems (long matches and wrestling oriantated product based in reality V a return to the attitude era)

When it's me V Someone else then, someone else can set what we debate about.

How about instead of you stepping out of your own thing, why don't you just have everyone who is involved come up with 1 topic, and then use them?, but just don't have the people who suggested that topic debate it, if you know what I mean.....
