| Well done Jimmy Wang Yang
30 days off for you son!
Its hard enough to break into the business as it is without shooting yourself in the foot, hopefully this time off will allow him time to rest up and come back with a decent gimmick and a run in the IC or US division, he might not be championship material but he will get good matches out of opponents

| Who doesn't job in the ring to Kozlov though
I can see the WWE building this guy up as some kind of monster so the Undertaker has someone big to feud with when he returns

| i duno really, at first i thought, they are putting him against credible smaller atheletes in a step up, but it seems its just jimmys pre ban squash. saved a local wrestlers life i guess lol..
how often do they test people now though, cos it seems to me like people will have stopped taking whatever, but its still in system

| I seriously cant believe people are still being caught, I am unsure how frequently they are tested but I know its random however its independent so that rules out 'looking after the big boys' that many believe to be the case!
I would have thought after losing 10 at the same time last year then high profiles like Hardy then Regal who were on the push of there lives the WWE would be making sure people will not continue to mess it up
I think there has to be some lee-way though, if guys are banned when they have taking something by accident when it was apart of some over the counter prescription then I think they should be allowed to appeal, I am a believer that if its apart of an over the counter drug and the quantity in the wrestlers body suggests that is all that has actually been taken then I do not think they should be punished.
When your on the road for so many days a year I don't suppose you have time to look through every last detail of something that you have LEGALLY aquired
After all, this is not a competitive sport, its a show, a circus act or a pantomime of sorts, if footballers can get steriod injections in there knees before vital matches then why is it so different for wrestlers to have a misdemeanor, they are not looking to gain an advantage as its not an official competitive sport, so there is no advantage to be gained in terms of competitiveness so that in itself should mean the WWE give themselves particular lee-way
No one is suggesting allow guys away with just breaking the rules, but if there tests come back positive and they claim ignorance then test there bodies thoroughly to see if the quantity in there bodies backs up there stories that it must have been a simple innocent supplement

| That's just it though gaf, they are actually allowed a certain amount to be in their blood stream, its when they go over that they are suspended......well according to Mr Kennedy anyway.
I totally agree with your points on the over the counter stuff as well, after all it is legal to buy, so should be legal to take.

| I'm wondering what's going to go down when the inevitable happens and someone gets the third strike (prob Jeff) Will they be escorted from the building and then what will be the fallout afterwards. Would TNA then take the risk and bad publicity of recruiting someone who got caught 3 times? Would the person hit back at WWE? | |

| If I was TNA management and Jeff Hardy became available I would certainly snap him up ASAP
I do not think he is that great but he is over no end with the crowd and his push looks to still be on the agenda, and while it may not be as strong as before his 2nd strike I think having someone so over with a rival company can only be a good thing to entice more viewers to your product
As for Hardy himself, If I was Vince I would tell him straight that he will be rehired in a few months however he must NOT go to TNA if he wishes for a return, then the ball would be in Jeffs court

| Gaffer, I'm sure they don't just have them walk in and go "your using drugs GTFO!"
i bet that Vince or whoever tells them to GTFO would be willing to listen if he goes "you've been using asitideadopimine, and the wrestler goes "I have a prescription for asitideadopimine, i'll show it to you"

| I read an interview with RVd a while back, he claimed he was tested every couple of months.
Doesn't Vince usually offer to put people through rehab first, depending on the drug? I'm sure Jeff was fired last time for crystal meth, and went because he refused rehab for it - Chris Masters may have been the same...
A point on Batista - he's apparently asthmatic, which means he could get a valid prescription for steroids. Could explain why he hasn't decreased in size in the slightest, yet others (Snitsky for one) have lost muscle and gained blubber...?

| Your right Bazz, i read gaffers's post wrong.
I took it to be what he thinks should happen, rather than what he thinks does happen.

| I bet Shannon Moore is pissed off. Although he wasn't going anywhere fast, it's better than being a jobber that he will become like nearly every other cruiserweight. | |
