| This thread is to discuss your thoughts on Chuck Palumbo. Does he deserve a U.S title run, a mini push?? You get my drift.
I actually don't mind Chuck. His matches aren't bad. He got a ton of heat when he turned heel a while back and I actually think the biker gimmick suits him. He might not be great in the ring but hes decent enough for a push in my opinion. His mic skills aren't bad compared to others.
I'm looking forward to a Chuck Palumbo vs Rey Mysterio feud and a Palumbo vs Batista feud.

| well jbl said hed hold a title within the year, suggesting hed be trusted with a push, but then they just turned him heel while mvp was champ so he didnt get a chance. i dont mind him as a card filler, nothing special, but hes a big guy, who doesnt fight like the old monster heel so its more interesting than a flabby v etc | |

| Palumbo is a decent standard, he can wrestle and move and is not a botch monster
I can't see him as a champion, however I can see him as a credible contender for Matt Hardy's US strap
Palumbo should be used in matches with Batista and in the past The Undertaker because they needed some fresh guys to compete with and Palumbo would not have been overawed our out of his depths and it could have breathed fresh life into the Batista or Undertaker matches

| It could be seen as a toned down Badass gimmick, but wrestling is full of used gimmicks, Palumbo is not doing anything we have not seen before, but is anyone out there in this day and age unique? | |

| I still dont think Chuck is good enough for us title maybe if there was a third tier like the old european belt he would be a good holder but theres much better compeetetion in US divison than him. | |

| He's boring, i don't like him at all. He can wrestle well, but his matches are predictable, and he just doesn't make me care about whatever he's doing. | |

| Did you read what I said Jnr?
I did not say he is US title material, but he could be a good contender, to at least get the belt defended from time to time with different contenders

| see gaffer, thats the rpblem though. He could be a legitimate contender, but you don't think he could win the title. Thats one of the problems i have with him, is that he never wins. If he held the title, even for only a few weeks, I feel that after he dropped it, he'd be a far more legit contender for whatever he tried for. | |

| the badass gimmick that Taker used was hardly original itself when you had the likes of Skull and 8Ball using it not too long before it. It could just be the slightest thing that gives Palumbo a push, a sudden fan reaction to a new catchphrase etc like Austin received will thrust him into the spotlight. | |

| Doom I know what your saying, but you dont have to be seen to be championship material to have a good feud and there have been plenty of guys used in this way to get a good title match out of a champ, it could however be a title match that gives everyone the confidence that Palumbo could be a genuine contender
Its the Jeff Hardy syndrome, he is not really world champ material but people enjoy him being in and aroudn the main event

| I think he could hold the Tag titles or US belt quite well he is big but not Mark Henry or Khali Big he could be used in a stable as the Enforcer but i think he has enough experience to just go for a big feud against someone like Matt Hardy | |

| He does, I agree with you, I think Palumbo is a good pro, I suppose that kinda says it all about him and guys like him, its no bad thing, maybe he has not got that IT factor but its guys like Palumbo who keep everything ticking over | |

| Matt Hardy himself has never really had the IT factor though and he is always hovering just below the main event status. | |

| I never really got Mattitude. To me it was a poor mans Jericho or Christian. He'll always be a babyface to me. | |

| Matt Hardy is just way too dull IMO, honestly he could bore me into watching cricket, I just don't see why he is so over.
The biker gimmick has been done to death in the WWE, as well as the one's already mentioned we also had that tag team.......urm D.O.A I think they where called, although the New age outlaws ripping there gimmick was just to damn funny.
