Anyway, who you got winning this crap, I'm thinking the Germans, Spain have a good team but they have as much bottle as England when it comes to these things.

hmm, i hope croatia win it, just read somthing i forgot, theyv only been a country for 17 years, so the players are damn passionate, and billic is a legend of course.

I fancied Croatia too as a dark horse sort of team. My fantasy teams full of them anyway, including the legend that is Kovac. Anyway, it's Holland going out of that group. I'm confident France can do it this time around.

I've always got to back my favourites, Holland in these things, unfortunately I've been left disappointed almost every time. As a serious pick, I suppose either Germany or Italy

Spain are always fancied because of the huge amount of quality in their squad, yet for some reason never manage to do fuck all. I'd probably consider them a bit of a dark horse

I have been thinking Germany for a while now!

I think with all the players approaching there peak now that this could be Portugal's year to finally win something.

Spain will look hot as hell again in the groups, they always do, but then when people start to fancy them they will not turn up for a knock out game

France will always be worth a punt, but having saw them up close twice in the last 18 months against Scotland they didn't look to impressive, semis at best for me

Holland, if they get out the group I fancy them to make the final, they always have top quality squads but its the same old with the Dutch, they are always riddled with 'insider' problems, It looks like Van Basten has overcome that this time around and with a forward selection of Huuntalaar Van Nistlerooy, Van Persie, Kuyt and Vennegoor of Hesselink they will not be short on options and with Snider in the middle pulling the strings it could very well be there year

Prediction contest anyone??

I know that they always do badly but I think it will be Spain.

I think it will be a Spain vs. Portugal final, and it will be very close, but both teams have very strong attack and I see a 3-2 win for Spain.

I think this tournament is good for the neutral to watch, i's a chance to see some of the best in Europe without enduring the agony of dsupporting the hopeless England.

I am also supporting spain as it's the nearest to supporting england, all the talent in the world, bigged up by all the pundits, get knocked out in the quarters on penalties, that'll do me.

I'm going with Croatia too, the Euro's often throw up a surprise winner (Greece, Denmark) so it could well be them.
