Music and shite.

im currently in the stages of thinking about kicking off some kind of music project for the summer so as iv been away from the mainstream "greebo" music scene for a good 4 years really i was wondering if any of you know any random bands i can listen to for a bit of english influence, altho im not fussed where there from really.

Currently im trying to listen to some (kind of) Post hardcore stuff, although im not great at defining genre.

I noticed the way i write guitar is already a mix of influences and need to hear some other good bands to focus on vocals.

so far i can describe my style as a mix of:

System of a down,
Red Tape,
Alkaline trio,
and then just i dont know, its its own thing.

so basicly i ask of you to suggest a few post hardcore/heavyish modern punk/decent gritty brittish vocal shit lol. if you have any ideas.

haha, erm iv gotten into a burst of writing and im gonna try and recruit some people.

tryna convince me good mate to start playing his bass again and this other guy who keeps saying how one day hel put effort into trying to sing instead of being embarressed and then scout a drummer maybe, il see.

but i just noticed i was churning out alot of stuff that wouldnt go with my more poetic and clever lyrics so thought why not focus on the music bit n get someone else do lyrics. I really cant find any decent english bands with that west coast US guitar style. DAMN THEM ALL! All i could find on my mission so far was boring old style linear punk which made that guy who went on celeb big brothers band look good.
