| The following is from WWE.com:
Randy Orton was involved in a motorcycle accident resulting in him re-injuring his collarbone. Orton had initially injured his collarbone last June at One Night Stand, during his confrontation with Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship.
As a result of re-injuring the collarbone, Orton will be out of action for three months.
======================= very MUCH doubt its a work if so a bit of a harsh angle dont ya think i think its a case of people will think that cause he just "happend" to re-injure his injury as hes bout to come back i think coencedience rather than work

| No more sicening than Cena doing TV work in the build up to the rumble saying he was still 3 months away from a comeback. | |

| I'm hoping this is bullshit and he's back RKO-ing people left, right and center within a month.
He was the best part of Raw for months before he got hurt.

How many people fell for it though? I know I marked out when his music kicked in, and it's one of the most memorable moments from WWE in the past couple of years. Hell, even the MSG crowd went nuts for him - until he started 'punching' people...

| The moment Cena's music hit at The Rumble, I didn't mark out and instead groaned 'that little fuckwit's gonna win The Rumble' and sure enough he did, pissing me off just like the 2 times Hogan won it. | |

He was the best part of Raw for months before he got hurt. i forget who he was fighting at the time, but there was one show where he'd start his promos by running in, RKOing a random person, then starting to talk.

| Until there is something confirmed from a "reputable source"(which its yet to be) then I'm just gonna think of this as a work.
PS: the WO is not a reputable source

When Hogan won the rumbles though they were not granted title matches at Mania Although, Hogan did main event both Manias in the aftermath of winning the Rumble, that being said the first one he won, I am sure he was the champ at the time, and the second time was just to set up a title match so he could beat Slaughter and Iraq

| That site is called Randyorton.com right??
That and wwe.com are not a reputable source, until I see a real source that's nothing to do with the wrestling business, I take this with a pinch of salt

| and as on wrestlezone i found this
The ONLY way Orton would be able to be launched the length of 300 feet is if he first landed on one of the WWE'S diva's breasts and launched himself into the rest of the "trip". I've seen Die Hard I-IV several times, and there is not one shot of McClain falling, diving, sliding, etc 300 feet. Now...if he really did wreck, my heart goes out to him and hopes he gets well and back to a MUCH NEEDED storyline with anyone---but now we have the "near death" storyline that can be played out for the next months of being able to survive being thrown more than what Favre can only imagine throwing.
Nick's Note: If the story turns out to be a work, I don't see creative going with the "he survived" angle. Rather, I see them bringing Orton in for a surprise appearance at Summerslam and then having him cut a promo the next night on Raw admitting it was all a lie. This way the announcers can put over how "despicable" Orton is for creating such a heinous lie to the fans

| I've had a thought on the whole matter that I reckon will spring up on rumour mills over the next few days. Orton has previously been a naughty boy regarding the wellness policy. What if he's been tested positive again due to taking somethinghe shouldnt whilst recovering from his original genuine injury? WWE would be loathe to give him a third strike and sack him as he's a BIG star for them nowadays but have to do something or else he'd be turning up on TNA within a month. Cover it up with a bike injury and no-one is the wiser, Orton comes back clean after serving time and WWE keep a star.

| You can't be thrown 300ft wearing nothing but shorts and t shirt, and somehow only re-injure your collarbone.
I'm still calling bullshit on this at the moment.

That was ment to be sarcastic. I think he flew 30 feet, not 300. 300 feet will result in death, 30 feet can be seen in a game of football. Not to say it's not bullshit, but i know i read somewhere 30 feet.

| 300 feet is more than plausible in my opinion, its a guestimate though, if he was going at really high speed then he could have been launched while the bike may have went in a different direction, when the ambulance got there they would say he was around 300 feet from the bike, he may only have went about 100 feet but with the bike as well its likely they would count the distance rather than from the accident point | |

| 300 feet, or even 100 feet, is a long ass way to go off the front of a moving vehicle. If he landed 100 feet away from his bike with only a reinjured coller bone, hes a lucky sob. | |

| with your leathers on when biking you do slide a helluva long way and if it was wet it would only add to that, there is a good chance he landed on his ass and spun and flipped around, | |
