This was between WrestleMania 6 and SummerSlam 90
At this stage the WWF where going to go with The Hart Foundation turning heel but they for some reason changed there minds brought in Crush and made Demolition the heel team

The reason they didn't turn them heel was because Ax had a stroke and had to be replaced in Demolition, they knew that having a third member would seem like a heelish unfair act so they turned Demolition heel instead.

Did Ax have a stroke? I knew he was unwell but wasn't sure exactly what it was, I don't know why but Ax was always my favourite out of the two and just never took to Crush
